1. Explanations
Welcome to our Terms and Conditions page. This page outlines the agreement between subtle-editors.com and anyone interacting with the website by enlisting our online editing services. Anyone who submits a request to obtain our editing and proofreading services is deemed to have exhaustively read, understood, and consented to be legally bound by our Terms and Conditions that constitute the agreement between the buyer and Subtle-editors.com. Access and purchase of services offered by this website is only allowed for persons above the legal age of 18 years.
Herein and pursuant to these conditions;
"Customer", "Client", "You", "Buyer" refers to anyone who submits a request for our editing services and/or products.
"We", "Our" or "Us" refers to Subtle-editors.com.
"Product" means manuscripts edited or proofread by Subtle-editors.com, the products include books, novels, theses, research papers, articles, dissertations, capstone projects, legal documents, business documents, personal documents or any other documents required, paid for and proffered in line with the customer's instructions.
2. Placing an Order
(a) You place your order with us by filling an online request form where you supply information necessary to execute your order. The company will in no way disclose your personal information to third parties. This is fully covered in our Privacy Policy.
We communicate with clients via their email address, live chat, and any other address expressly specified, keeping the client up-to-date with the progress of their order and seeking clarifications when necessary.
(b) Once you fill the order form, we calculate your order amount based on the type of editing required (proofreading, copyediting, or developmental editing), urgency (due date), number of pages, and any other unique features of the manuscript. The count down on the deadline only starts after you have made the payment.
(c) If you want any unique material to be included in your work (such as books or graphics that cannot be freely sourced online), you are required to avail such material promptly after placing the order. Such materials should be sent via our email: info@subtle-editors.com
(d) Edited work/product is delivered to the client as an attachment to the email provided in the order form while placing the order. If the client has created an account with us, we also upload the edited document to their online account.
3. Refund Policy
(a) Subtle-editors.com guarantees to provide impeccable editing services, follow all directives from the client including the indicated formatting requirements, carry out adequate and appropriate research as necessitated by the level of editing purchased, and use formal Standard English.
(b) We edit academic documents such as dissertations, research papers, and theses. We do not write such documents from scratch. The scope of our services is limited to correction of grammar, language, flow of ideas, and sentence structure. Customers cannot, therefore, demand refunds on the basis of receiving unsatisfactory grades.
(c) Customers should make use of the Additional-Free-Round-of-Editing Policy in case they are not satisfied with the product delivered to them the first time; no refund is payable if this option has not been utilized exhaustively.
(d) Refunds are only made at the discretion of Subtle-editors.com with the exception of the transaction fee. If the editing has been finalized, refunds are not made at all unless expressly stated here.
4. Additional-Free-Round-of-Editing Policy
(a) We do not charge for an additional round of editing for manuscripts that we have already edited if the request is made within our time limits.
(b) Customers are obligated to go through the product delivered and contact us as soon as possible in case of any required changes.
(c) Additional-Free-Round-of-Editing is available within 1 month after the client received the edited product.
(d) All changes requested must be in line with the instructions provided while placing the order, deviation from the initial instructions will necessitate additional payment.
You acknowledge and consent that we may unilaterally change these Terms and Conditions. We recommend reviewing these Terms and Conditions from time to time as any such changes will be reflected in this page of Our Website.
